This incredible park is at your fingertips at the Gateway Hotel, which is within close walking distance of the newly-remodeled Kenai Fjords National Park Visitor Center and Major Marine Tours cruises into the park. For your convenience, our friendly customer service agents can add Major Marine Tours glacier and wildlife cruises to your Gateway Hotel reservation. The beauty of Kenai Fjords National Park is featured at the Gateway Hotel through artwork and photography on display throughout the hotel.
CONVENIENT LOCATION
The Gateway Hotel is conveniently located within close walking distance of the Seward Small Boat Harbor and a variety of restaurants and shops. Downtown Seward and the Alaska SeaLife Center are located less than a mile away. Daily shuttle service will transport guests to and from the Major Marine Tours check-in offices, the Alaska Railroad Depot, and the cruise ship terminal.

Our Two Bedroom Suite includes a single king bed room connected to a double queen bed room with a shared bathroom. These rooms feature free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, work desk, phone, individually controlled air conditioning, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, mini fridge, and hair dryer.
Additional Information
- Double Queen Room and King ADA Room prices are based on single/double occupancy. Suite prices are based on occupancy of up to 4 people. A $20 charge will be added for each additional guest over 11 years of age. Maximum occupancy is 4 for Double Queen Rooms, 2 for King ADA Rooms, and 6 for Suites. Some room types can accommodate a roll-away bed, which will add capacity for 1 additional person. Call for more details.
- In the event that Gateway Hotel is sold out on your desired reservation date, please call our reservations line and we can place you on our guest room wait list.
- Check-in is at 4:00 p.m., check-out is at 11:00 a.m.

Payment & Cancellation Policy
All reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards. Reservations require a deposit equal to one nights’ room rate plus tax, representing the first night of the stay, which will be billed to the credit card at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due at check out. Cancellations must be received at least 7 days prior to expected arrival date, or the deposit will be non-refundable.
