PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

OUR COMPANY STATEMENT REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS

At Major Marine Tours, Harbor 360 Hotel, and Gateway Hotel the safety of our guests and employees is our #1 priority. We are closely monitoring the continuously changing coronavirus developments and will follow the advice of the CDC. We understand how hard it is to keep up-to-date on what is going on and to decide whether or not to change or cancel your travel plans.

We are instating a flexible change and cancellation policy for our reservations in response to the current situation. Hotel reservations and cruise/hotel packages are fully refundable until 72 hours prior to arrival date for the 2020 season. Major Marine Tours cruise-only reservations are fully refundable at any time during 2020 season. If you are unable to travel to Alaska due to health conditions after our free cancellation window, please call us at (907) 274-7300 and we can discuss other options with you. We are now taking reservations for 2021. If you would still like to travel to Alaska but would like to postpone, we can transfer your reservation to later in 2020 or 2021.

If you choose to join us, please be assured we will have a robust cleaning process on our vessels and in our hotels. We use disinfectants that are effective against viruses and will have hand sanitizer available throughout the vessels and our hotels for both guests and staff. For our food preparations, we follow the strict local public health guidelines. Our food service personnel are also ServSafe certified.

Our hearts go out to those that have been impacted by the virus.

Hotel Payment & Cancellation Policy

All reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards. Online bookings require payment in full at the time of booking. All other bookings require a deposit equal to one nights’ room rate plus tax, representing the first night of the stay, which will be billed to the credit card at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be due at check out. For the 2020 season, cancellations must be received at least 72 hours prior to expected arrival date, or the deposit will be non-refundable.
